Early Risers and Tomato Crew
There are currently two regularly scheduled opportunities for volunteering. We’re open to suggestions, so if you’d like to join us, and these don’t work for you, please don’t hesitate to call (302) 540 0912, or send an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Each Wednesday, 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM, as you’re available.
For those who want to volunteer, but can’t get here after work, an opportunity to come by and enjoy the beautiful mornings at the Kranz Farm while helping with light tasks, like weeding and sowing. Come when you can, and leave when you must.
Each Monday, 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, as you’re available.
Our tomatoes are of a type that produce an indeterminate number of fruits, usually for months. They also need constant pruning. We’d like a crew of at least five or six to come out weekly and keep the tomato vines under control. See the fruits as they’re developing, and get the first taste of the tomatoes as they come in. If the harvest is abundant, volunteers can expect to take home tomatoes.
As far as I know, some people would be interested in volunteering on Saturdays. If you’re one of them, please let me know whether the morning or late afternoon is better for you, so I can make a plan.
